Bobblehead Zagreb
With a population of over 1.2 million and an estimated GDP of $3 billion, Zagreb is one of the most populous cities in Europe. It is home to some of Croatia’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Stone Gate and Ban Jelacic Square, along with the city’s best restaurants and bars.
AR Bobbles: The newest craze to hit the streets of Zagreb is augmented reality (AR). This interactive experience is free, and allows you to bring the most impressive bobbleheads to life with the click of your smartphone.
Most notably, the app works in conjunction with the world’s largest augmented reality headset, which will be used to scan the bobblehead and then display its digital image on your phone. The augmented reality app is available for Android, iPhone and Windows smartphones.
Zappa ’75: The Big Show
The Maestro toured Europe in November 1975, performing shows in Zagreb and Ljubljana, Slovenia. These shows are regarded as among his best performances ever, and have recently been painstakingly captured and re-mastered by Frank’s longtime friend and engineer Craig Parker Adams at Winslow Ct in Connecticut.
Zappa ’75: Zagreb/Ljubljana is a must-have for any Zappa fan and will feature the best of the three performances from each city. The album also includes a pair of bonus tracks that have never before been available on a Zappa album.
Biggest Mementos: Gradec, the Stone Gate and the AR Bobblehead
The largest oath of all is to take the time to visit these and other landmarks in this historic city, as they are the real stars of the show. This is the best way to get a feel for what it is like to live in this historic European city.
