Whether you missed the chance to get a bobblehead at Wednesday night’s Reds game or just want another one of your own, you can add an Elly De La Cruz City Connect bobblehead to your collection. The likeness of the Reds’ outfielder is starting to pop up on eBay, with some sellers offering the figurine for as low as $50 or up to $500 or higher based on the current bid price.
The Reds gave out the De La Cruz bobblehead to fans who attended the game, which was a sellout and the highest-attended regular season weekday game in Great American Ball Park history. The bobblehead features De La Cruz in a City Connect jersey, the fourth in a series of giveaway bobbleheads this season that also includes versions of Jake Fraley, Matt McLain and Alexis Diaz.
The Pittsburgh Penguins’ mystery continues as a shipment of Jaromir Jagr bobbleheads that were to be given out to fans at Thursday’s game against the San Jose Sharks went missing after it was shipped from China. The team gave vouchers to fans who wanted a bobblehead and promised them they’d be able to get one when the tiny likenesses show up.
