Bobbleheads are a popular collectible in Fallout 3. They not only provide players with new skills and stat boosts, but they also open up certain locations in the Capital Wasteland that players might otherwise never venture to.
There are several bobbleheads that players can find in the game, including those for Medicine, Endurance, Charisma, Agility and more. These collectibles add a +1 to the skill that they are associated with.
To get the Bobblehead for Medicine, head to Vault 101 and search inside James’ clinic on the lower level of the facility. This is the location where the prologue of Fallout 3 takes place, and it also features the first quest in the game.
Once you have the bobblehead, return to James and complete the quest. This will increase the player’s Medical skills and allow them to use weapons, armor and other gear that normally wouldn’t be available to them.
For the other bobbleheads, players will have to do some searching. There are many areas across the Capitol Wasteland that have bobbleheads hidden in them, so be sure to explore all of them.
The Bobblehead for Endurance is located in a cave called the Deathclaw Sanctuary. This area is populated by high-level enemies, so it’s best to use a stealth boy to avoid these threats.
However, if you do want the Endurance bobblehead, it’s best to enter this location with high-level armor and a good weapon. This bobblehead can be found in the first large cavern that is to the left of the entrance slope, tucked in next to a rotting brahmin corpse.
To get the Lockpick bobblehead, players will have to enter Bethesda ruins, a somewhat maze-like location south of the Scrapyard (where you can find Dogmeat) and east of Big Town. Once in the area, players will have to fight their way through a series of ghouls and raiders before reaching the office building in the center. The office building has a desk that has the bobblehead on it.
For the Bobblehead for Intelligence, players will have to travel to Rivet City on the far southeastern part of the map. This is a very dangerous location, as it is filled with Yao Guai and a swarm of mutants.
This area is also home to a huge radiation cloud that will cover all of the surrounding buildings and will make it hard for anyone to survive. To protect yourself, players will have to bring a radiation suit and Rad-X with them.
Another bobblehead for Agility can be found in one of the most hazardous places in the Capital Wasteland, the Greener Pastures disposal site southwest of Vault 92 and Old Olney. This is a hotspot for Yao Guai and the entire area has a lot of radiation, so players will have to be very careful when venturing into this area.
The last bobblehead for Charisma is in the Cloning Lab in Vault 108, which is a fairly easy place to find. This is a location that’s incredibly dangerous due to the clones that are there, so be aware of the danger and don’t be afraid to use a radiation suit or Rad-X.
