Vault 111 is the first vault you can visit in Fallout 4 and it’s the one that your character awakens in after the bombs drop. However, the Sole Survivor isn’t alone in this vault and soon learns that the Vault is home to an illegal experiment on the inhabitants. The scientists and security staff are being tested on the effects of suspended animation. This is a perfect example of why you should always check each location in the game before advancing to the next one!
Vault-Tec is the company in the Fallout universe that built the many vaults scattered throughout the Commonwealth. These vaults were meant to save people in the event of a nuclear war, but Vault-Tec secretly built a number of devious experiments into these locations. One of these is the cyrogenics vault 111, where residents were placed in what they thought were sterilizing pods and then put in cryogenic sleep.
After the war, these subjects were supposed to be waken up with an all-clear signal from Vault-Tec HQ. The problem is, that never came and the scientists and security team mutinied and tried to escape.
This bobblehead can be retrieved by visiting the Saugus Ironworks and entering the Blast Furnace area. Look for a steamer trunk that rests along a metal catwalk and open it up to find this collectible. Once collected, this bobblehead can be found in the vault’s living quarters.
