Fallout fans will be pleased to hear that a mod has been released which adds bobbleheads to the game. These new bobbleheads give the player a boost to certain skills or stats. They can also be placed on display cases in the player’s home.
There are 13 new bobbleheads to collect, one for each of the main areas in the game, plus an additional bobblehead that gives a bonus for any area in the game. They can be found in hidden areas that make sense for the skill or stat they enhance.
The first five are easily accessible and can be picked up at the beginning of the game, while the remaining seven require a little bit more work to find. The hardest to locate of these is the Intelligence bobblehead, which requires you to enter Allied Technologies in downtown Las Vegas during the Nuka-Cola Challenge quest. This is a completely bonus area, and it is actually a bit difficult to get to. The in-game metro map gives the impression that you can access this location from Central, but in reality you need to travel through Chevy Chase station, which is actually a different station than Central.
After exiting the train, you need to take a right and head over to a building called Allied Technology. This is a huge complex, and it takes some exploration to find the cannery. Once inside, follow the catwalks up to a room that overlooks the assembly area. The Intelligence bobblehead is sitting on a desk in this area.
Next up is the Guns bobblehead, which you can pick up in the National Guard Depot in Vault 108. This is a pretty easy to reach area, as it is added automatically to your maps at some point during the main quest. Once you have accessed this area, you need to head to the quarters and search for it. It is sitting on a desk near some weapons.
Finally, the Melee bobblehead can be found in the Republic of Dave area, in the unmarked Rockopolis area. This is near Legate Lanius’ camp, and it’s in a room with a bunch of training dummies. This is in plain sight on a shelf.
That’s all for this article on the bobbleheads new vegas. Hopefully you will be able to pick all of them up and add some extra oomph to your favorite melee, shooting or stealth skills in the game.
