A bobblehead doll, also known as a nodder or wobbler, is a toy with an oversized head compared to its body. The figure is usually connected to its body by a spring or hook so that the head will bobble or nod. It is most often associated with athletes, especially baseball players, who are given out as promotions at sports events. Other figures have been used, including breakfast cereal mascot Count Chocula and beat generation author Jack Kerouac.
