Bobblehead Animals

A bobble head animal has a unique feature that makes it stand out from the rest. The animal’s head is attached to the body with a clear tube that allows the head to move or “bobble” around. It’s a great way to show your love for the pet or bring back fond memories of the past.

Aside from being a fun collectible, bobble heads are also a popular gift item. They’re inexpensive, durable, and can be personalized to make them more personal. They’re also easy to carry and can be displayed anywhere.

Most modern bobbleheads are made of resins or sandstone and can be easily customized. They’re much more durable and require less maintenance than the old-style papier mache and ceramic models. Some companies also use a flocked style that incorporates a plastic shell with a fuzz-like layer.

Regardless of how they’re made, the bobblehead’s popularity has risen since their reintroduction into pop culture in the 1990s by baseball teams like the San Francisco Giants. These nodding figurines are used by many brands as promotional items. McDonald’s, for example, has a Ronald McDonald bobblehead and the Osbournes have their own line of Ozzy bobblehead dolls.

Although the most common are human bobbleheads, there are plenty of other types too – including animals. Some are even life-sized! One of the largest is a rooster that stands more than 3 feet tall and took artist Fernando Vicente two years to complete. The statue is made from recycled materials, including wood scraps from a local furniture factory and metal from a sugar mill where he works.
