Bobblehead Ants

Pheidole ants are known as Bobbleheads. This ant species lives in a colony in Avista and is pictured as a giant-headed troll ant. It is very similar to the Booby Trap. Instead of using a plastic head, it uses a wooden club to attract Aphids. The wooden club turns the ant into a source of nature power.

These ants have been given their own oversized head to mimic their oversized appearance. The ant colony was given its own floating island in September 2018. Scientists say the bobbleheads are similar to a doll with an enlarged head. They are believed to be able to bobble, like a real doll. These ants are known to move their heads randomly. Some people think that they are a toy, but this may not be the case.

Bobblehead ants are the most unique type of ant in the world. In September 2018, scientists gave the colony another floating island to expand its population. Their name refers to the fact that their oversized head may bobble on a spring. However, it is unclear how the ants got their names. They are actually part of the genus Hymenolenchus argentatum. But their name has a more scientific explanation.
