Fallout 3 Bobbleheads – Where to Find Them in Fallout 3

There are plenty of things to collect in Fallout 3, but none are more prized than the game’s bobbleheads. Modelled after the series’ mascot, Vault Boy, these collectables offer a permanent boost to one of your character’s abilities – and can open up new ways of playing the game without levelling up. The Exputer team put together a list of all 20 of these bobbleheads, and where to find them in the Capital Wasteland.

Lockpick

In the ruins of Bethesda — a location infested with raiders and ghouls — players can find this bobblehead on a desk in a room labeled “Bethesda Offices East.” It offers a +10 barter boost for the player.

Unarmed

This bobblehead is found in a cave directly north of Girdershade and west of Smith Casey’s Garage. It can be spotted by exploring the area, and will offer a +10 boost to the Lone Wanderer’s Unarmed damage.

Power Armor

Located inside the Yao Guai Tunnels, this bobblehead is found on a metal box near some wastelander bodies in a corner of the bonus area. This is a great place to check out before you start the Rescue from Paradise quest, as it’s a very good place to pick up this bobblehead.

Chemistry

You’ll need to kill the Cutty Raider in Power Armor and his henchmen to be able to access this location in Poseidon Energy. This facility is filled with raiders, so you’ll want to be prepared for a fight. Once you’ve killed the Raiders, head into the room they came from and look on a table to find this bobblehead. It will increase your chemistry skills by one point.

Perception

This bobblehead can be found in Lucas Simm’s house in Megaton, the southeast corner of the Capital Wasteland. Enter the building, then head upstairs to the second floor. It’s on a set of shelves up against the right-hand wall.

Endurance

Located in the Deathclaw Sanctuary, which is located close to Broadcast Tower KB5 and Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel, this bobblehead can be found in the northwest part of the map. It’s in a cave that can be accessed by heading south from the entrance, and it’s in the first large cavern to the left of the entry slope. It’s next to a rotting brahmin corpse, along with a mini nuke and a skill magazine.

Speech

This is one of the most elusive bobbleheads in the game, as it’s not actually part of any of the main story lines. However, players who are lucky enough to meet Nick Valentine at the Greener Pastures Disposal Site will be able to pick it up.

This bobblehead will give the player a +10 bonus to their Strength – which is important for improving the carry weight of weapons and helping the player to keep inventory management under control. However, the player should note that unarmed damage is boosted by ENDURANCE, not Strength, so this bobblehead may not provide as much of an improvement to the Lone Wanderer’s combat skills as some might have expected.
