Fallout 4 – Early game SPECIAL points – Magazine & Perception Bobblehead

Greetings, everyone.

Our next Fallout 4 video is an interesting one for those who want to save a couple S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points, especially on the Perception stat, when planning your builds.

As it happens, at the beginning of the game, we start in our house and we have the option to explore it a bit, and we’ll see some magazines and books that seem interesting but we cannot use, yet.

Then, the time skip happens, and we have the chance to come back to our house. Once there, we should be able to find the “You’re SPECIAL book” that was in our son’s room, and that one will give us one SPECIAL point to spend for whichever stat we want. We can also find a Grognak the barbarian comic issue in the living room, so don’t miss that one either, as the perks obtained via these comics are quite interesting and can only be acquired by finding said comics / books.

Now, most of you planning ahead your builds might want to consider subtracting a couple points from your perception stat in your builds just because you’ll have an extra point here with this magazine. Why Perception, you may ask…well, simply because we can also get a Perception Bobblehead “soon” after coming back from Vault 111, when saving the people at the Concord area, (which we may consider still a part of the tutorial, really). This is probably the very first bobblehead most people will find, and that’s why it won’t be a bad idea to keep this thing in mind when planning your builds, and those two extra points can be used to boost your perception right after the start of the game.

Make sure not to miss yet another magazine where Preston Garvey is which will give us a cool new mini video game for the Pip-Boy (Atomic Command).

Of course, if you want, you can also use the point from the “You’re SPECIAL” magazine on something else, if your build doesn’t need an extra perception point, feel free to use it as you see fit.

I hope you guys liked this video, and I’ll see you in the next one : )
