National Bobblehead Day (January 7) – History, Activities and Why We Love National Bobblehead Day

Each year on January 7th, National Bobblehead Day recognizes a day of celebration for all spring-connected head bobbing figurines.

If you find it difficult to take bobbleheads seriously, you are not alone. But maybe it should. And National Bobblehead Day on January 7th is now a chance to acknowledge the fun behind these dolls and admit that you like them without feeling self-conscious about it. Although these silly dolls have become popular in the past two decades, bobble heads have been around for the past few centuries.

We bet there’s a big-headed version of any famous character you can think of: Presidents, sports figures, Supreme Court justices, and the Beatles all have big heads of their own. Clearly, National Bobblehead Day is a great idea. And if you don’t believe us, ask the world’s population of millions of big heads. They are sure to nod their heads.
