Rare Content Correction! (10/15/09)
I was recently informed that this is not the worlds first announcer bobblehead as I was lead to believe in my research. The Brewers gave away a Bob Uecker bobblehead on July 29th 2001, which pre-dates this one by a whole year! Oh well. rather be right than wrong.
It’s still historically significant for two reasons.
1) first double bobblehead.
2) first talking bobblehead.
Kruk says “Grab some pine meat”
Kuip says “Bonds hit one high.
He hits it deep. It’s outta here!”
